On the controversy with Mega Upload:

It was a bunch of miscommuncation. Personally, I wasn’t doing anything wrong. I’m the last one that wants to give music away. God work in mysterious ways.

On if rappers have an expiration date with how long they can survive in the industry:

When the artist stops being in love w/ what they doing. Artists get stuck in their own ways. Me, I’m chasing something new. Sometimes doing you too much, can box you out.

It’s all about the hit. DMX is working on a couple things.

On how he feels about DMX on reality TV:

I don’t like that it’s on TV, I like that he’s dealing with demons in his life. That’s big stuff. That’s stuff I didn’t even know about. We ain’t never have no discussion like that. I learned new things and it made me understand why he would behave in certain ways.

On his work with his charter school (BronxArts.net):

I’m from the South Bronx and to have a charter school there is special to me. Art is important, especially since they’re cutting their budgets.

On President Barack Obama, shouting out Young Jeezy during the White House Correspondence Dinner:

When I heard Barack say that, I was shocked. I thought it was cool. It was cool for Jeezy. Now he gotta know how to capitlize that (‘Jeezy, what we doin baby’)”

On when fans can expect another Alicia Keys album:

Her album is crazy. I think she’s coming in September.

On how difficult it is to gift Alicia Keys:

The thing w/ her, she’s not a materialistic person. She’s not for real. She just like[s] thoughtful gifts.
