Pink-Slip-Problems :: Shaunie O’neal Is Firing Three Cast Members from Basketball Wives: Miami

Well isn’t this interesting news! It is no secret that Shaunie O’Neal, the executive producer of VH1’s “Basketball Wives” has caught a ton of heat for the show’s recent negativity (fighting, name calling, bottle throwing, etc.). In an interview with The Insider, she dishes on if she has plans on returning and if any of the cast members will NOT be back for another season. Peep a few excerpts:
On if Shaunie is returning for another season:
“Honesty, I don’t want to go back….I have no problem walking away from the franchise….I say when right before it’s time to sign on the dotted line … [at the] end of summer…I won’t take responsibility for what it has turned into.”
On if any of the cast mates will be fired from the upcoming season:
“Three [from Miami]…Immediately. No questions asked. Not anything personal, just not where I’m trying to go. Not on the same page. … If I would like this franchise to keep going, yeah, three would have to go.”
Whoa. Who do you think she’s referring to? I have my guesses, but this is about what YOU think? Also, do we really think Shaunie will leave the show and could it survive without her? Peep the full interview here.
