Nicole Murphy’s Fiance, Michael Strahan, Lands Co-Host Gig With Kelly Ripa

Nicole Murphy’s former NFL’er fiance, Michael Strahan, has landed a new gig. This past June, he auditioned to a be co-host on ‘Live With Kelly Ripa’ and according to TMZ, he’s been officially selected as her co-host for the show. This isn’t Michael’s first stint at TV, as he’s been featured as a sports commentator for Fox. According to Broadcasting Cable,

Even when he assumes the new role, Strahan is expected to remain in his role with Fox NFL Sunday, as first reported by Joe Flint in the Los Angeles Times.  The long-running ABC franchise originates weekdays from New York, while Fox’s popular NFL studio programming is in Los Angeles.
