[Video & Photos] Queen Latifah’s ‘Steel Magnolias’

Less than a month away, fans of the original 1989 ‘Steel Magnolias’ movie are beaming with excitement.

Lifetime’s remake, includes A-listers Queen Latifah, Phylicia Rashad, Jill Scott and Alfre Woodard, along with Adepuro Oduye and Condola Rashad (Phylicia’s daughter). Directed by Kenny Leon (“A Raisin in the Sun”), the movie debuts at 9 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7. In the meantime, peep some of the promo shots and trailer.
