Haute or Hot A** Mess: Is Lisa Bonet Too OLD for A Shaved Side?
Actress Lisa Bonet (who most of us fell in love with as Denise on ‘The Cosby Show’) has remixed her new hair. For years, the 44-year-old actress has rocked waist length locs. And recently, she stepped out at an event, with a shaved side, channeling her inner Cassie. And while we’re certainly a fan of all things shaved, loc’ed, with a salt-and-pepper-remix, some folk aren’t really feeling it. What do you think of Lisa’s new shaved side–is it NOT age appropriate (is she too old to rock this style) or are you a fan?

She wants to shave half her she can at least she isn’t going naked.
I have seen worse. She is only 44! No she is not to old.
I just don’t like the shaved side as a whole on anybody.

But as for this post- Lilakoi Moon at 44 is beautiful and talented. She puts MANY 20 and 30 somethings to shame. And who said 44 is old?!?! I don’t know what the obsession is with being a teen or 20 year old. When I look at women like her, Halle, J.Lo, Gabrielle Union, Kerry Washington, Tracee Ellis-Ross, etc. who are in mid 30’s-40’s I get excited about growing older. While y’all peaking early with college as your glory days these WOMEN are showing the world what beautiful, successful and talented REALLY looks like.

I think Lisa look beautiful. I think she should finally cut off those dreads she has be wearing for years. I see she finally stop dying her hair too because this time last year her hair was freshly dyed and not a gray hair in site. I love how she is taking control and embracing her gray hair. It gives hope to those coming up behind her to throw caution to the wind and let be what will be.
She isn’t too old. She’s edgy so it’s fitting.
