[Editorial] Jet Blue Sponsors the Jasmine Brand’s ‘Soul Train Awards’ 2012 Travel
As some of you know, I live out of my suitcase, traveling throughout the year to cover celebrity-driven events (award shows, red carpets, launch parties, interviews, etc.), so I consider myself an airline expert. From check-in, to luggage issues, to booking my favorite seat, to airport food, I’ve nailed down my favorites and routines for making my experience as pleasant as I can, w/out breaking my bank.
This year, the good folk of Jet Blue Airline sponsored my travel to Las Vegas for Centric’s Soul Train Awards. I wasn’t required (nor encouraged) to write a post, but felt inclined to do so after my experience. Hands-down, flying Jet Blue was one of the most pleasant, pain-less travel experiences that I’ve had for quite some time. Although I was half-sleep while flying from IAD, the agents at check-in where positive, thorough and efficient. The flight attendants and crew were friendly and I even got a row to myself (I got lucky!). I had no issues w/ my checked luggage. Overall, my favorite part of my Jet Blue experience were the on-flight TV/channel options. Because of the nature of what theJasmineBrand.com does, it’s hard for me to be away from TV for an extended period of time. Jet Blue had every channel that I needed access to (MTV, CNN, MSNBC, VH1, Lifetime, etc.). Anyway, enough of the Jet Blue love festival, but consider them when booking your next trip!
