Steven Tyler Says He’s Not Racist, Apologizes to Nicki Minaj
This week, Barbz and Kens were livid when they heard of some critical comments that Steven Tyler had made about their beloved, Nicki Minaj. In short, Steven made some constructive remarks about Nicki’s potential American Idol judging skills. He stated:
“If it was Bob Dylan, Nicki Minaj would have had him sent to the cornfield!”
Fast forward to the present day and Steven has since apologized for his remarks. In an interview with Canadian TV he explained:
“I am the last thing on this planet as far as being a racist. I don’t know where she got that out of me saying I’m not sure how she would have judged Bob Dylan. I apologize if it was taken wrong, Nicki.”
What do you think of his apology? And do you think his comment was racist?
