[WATCH] Episode 2 x TLCA’s ‘The Sisterhood’ Reality Show
Nevermind the fact that there’s a small Change.org protest going on to cancel the show, or the fact that there’s a heated debated going on with TJB readers in the comment section, drama continues TLC’s newest reality show, ‘The Sisterhood’. I literally, just finished watching it and it’s a doozy. At this point, I’ve decided who my favorite character is, but my lips (or fingers) are sealed + y’all usually hate my opinion LOL. These women are not making themselves look good right now. There is a certain image as christian that we have to potray for the world. We cannot expect to save souls acting like the world. Now the high heels,weave,and all fancy things is no problem at all thats not an issue whatsoever, believe me im not one of those traditional types lol. But I feel sorry for some of these wives, especially Dominique-Its simply obvious that she is not meant to be a first lady right now. Dom is not even on the same level as her husband as a pastor. I mean it looks like she’s kinda of been pulled in a place that she is a little unknown to right now & honestly I think she is trying to find more of God herself-but who’s judging. Tara and her husbands hearts are in the right place but their logic of understanding is in a far place that it shouldn’t be. Tara can be a little cocky as far as thinking she is on a higher level of purpose for saving souls just because she is a pastor & the other wives are right b/c Tara really is not going to save souls that way…the things that she says does not make sense-for a person to be a christian for over a decade she acts like she was just born again. Her wisdom of God’s word is wayyy off lol like rebuking people for no reason at all( just talking about a simple convo) and saying that the spirit of them is from the devil….I can see why she got fired from the church (DOES NOT MAKE ANY SENSE)….and who gets fired from the church-There is a time and a place to call out certain spirits when it comes to spiritual warfare but donT use the devil everytime you run into conflict.
Then you have whats her name,but the other black girl….who is definatley all about gospel…her and dominique is a trip lol. I definatley respect the only wife that seems to have a sense of class and decency to shut them all up about talking about people behind their back. As a christian woman you don’t act that way….like seriously we dont judge peoples like that especially when you dont know their past. Also, southern bell girl(white) dont even know them like that sooo why is that even being put out there. Then we have the dominican wife she seems to be conscious about her image as well. Sooooo far,could change but the southern bell is doing a great job and the dominican one is doing okay as well.
This show does not represent a first Lady, This show is representing the harlot or in other words, The “Whore.” Thou Shall not attach the body of Christ, The “Wife”, to a Harlot”… Yeah if only that was in the script, I believe that we wou…ld see a much more Holy version instead of the first to letters of that word. “Be yes Holy for I am Holy; Without holiness we cannot see God. If we are given the privilage and the opportunity to re-present Christ then we should represent Him for who He is, HOLY! How do we win the world, looking like the world, and acting like them too? My spirit is vexed, because I come from a congregation of Godly first ladies who have taught me how to adorn myself in holiness and how to submit myself to my future husband, This conduct does not win thier husbands nor their many viewers to God. Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived God will not be mocked for whatever one sows, that shall he reap. Please pray for the body of Christ.

honestly tara and brian were absolutely correct in saying that Christians shouldn’t be listening to anything other than Christian music. Tara and brian are very outspoken about what they believe in as followers of God. Maybe they dont have to voice it in front of everybody all the time, maybe they can pull people to the side as talk about it. but by the same token we are to cast down and rebuke anything that’s in conflict with the word of God. They are strick when it comes to the word and thats the bottom line. They are the only reason I try to look at the show. everybody else is a little to worldly, carnal Christians if you may and yes there is such a thing as so.im all about reaching the people but at the same time it has to be made known who you are a a Christian. Paul said he became all things to all men that he may save some. this doesnt mean that he listened to their music or did as they did but that he met them where they were and not loose himself with in that. my pastor said the most dangerous person to a Christian is the one you are trying to convert.So there has to be a line when dealing with the unsaved or Christians who are not really sold out because you may find yourself doing as they do.

In all honesty, I can understand why Tahara catches so much heat when it comes to the way she chooses to communicate. People today want to camaflouge God to fit in or either leave Him out all together. Her life is indeed a litmus test.
Some through the water and some through the fire…but it is the word of God that sustains us all. It is the word of God that enables us all to swim or float when sin should have sunk us. Lord have mercy, it is undenyably the word of God in the most trying times that makes us fireproof through whatever trials and tribulations that we face in life. And whenever someone gets through speaking metaphorically or analyzing any tough situation it all comes back to the word of God.”I am the word and the word was with God and the word was God…I am that I am.”
Really there is no other way to explain it. Tahara just gets right to the point of it all. Besides, she should and is held to a higher standard because she’s a pastor and she speaks rightfully so in bringing forth the word at all times.
But indeed, the biggest room in the world, is room for growth. So ladies (why are we always so catty:)should just love, repect and adore each other for our individuality and uniqueness. This is prime opportunity to show how women and more importantly women of God can come together for something bigger than themselves. So don’t be so easily offended.
Most importantly, Tahara reigns supreme in my book thus far becuase she hasn’t compromised who she is or who she stands for. It’s obvious

We all have sinned and come short to the Glory of God. There was a time in church you could not wear jeans, women never wore pants. “Domonique” is keeping it real” The Power of Prayer. Before the testimony is always the test.
Let’s be real. The majority of Pastor’s wives do stand behind their husbands and are just as sincere about the ministry. But every woman in this position is not worthy of the title “First Lady.” There are some, ( I said, some) who take that title to the head. Those are the ones who define that title by their boasting in the fashion they adorn, or the show of materialist items that they have acquired. It’s all about glorifying themselves. The Sisterhood exhibits the latter.
We have to understand that when a man of God chooses a wife to be at his side, he had better have sought God’s divine guidance and direction in choosing her. He already knows that this woman should be virtuous, kind and above all have the same passion for Christ and the ministry that he does because,…they are ONE. But if we are honest with ourselves, we know this does not always happen.
First Lady, is just a title and it is not Biblical. I’ve seen administrative people, evangelists, missionaries, deaconess, and even armor bearers, in the church who could wear the title BETTER.
We’ve been so liberal with this title, “First Lady,” that we’ve bought into agreeing that if you’re married to the Pastor, the title automatically corresponds with the person wearing it.
Man and tradition can mess things up miserably. Sooner or later God’s gonna have his say, and we’ll be humbled once again.
