Confirmed: DJ Envy’s Wife, Gia Casey, New Cast Member of Real Housewives of New Jersey

We wouldn’t certainly call this ‘new’ news, but the rumor mill is growing about this one. Plus it’s been confirmed by a number of sources and one insider. Filming has almost wrapped for the latest season of Bravo’s the Real Housewives of New Jersey and it appears that they’ve added a fresh, minority face to the mix.

Reportedly, Gia Casey, has been added to the cast. If that name sounds familiar, it’s because she’s the wife of popular NYC DJ, DJ Envy. Envy is a co-host on Power 105’s ‘The Breakfast Club’ morning show. And if you’re a fan of the show, you know that last week, Envy practically begged his wife to take him back, but that’s a whole ‘nother story. Anywho, the couple have two children (and are expecting) and are high school sweethearts.

So how did Gia get on the show? Apparently, for quite some time, she’s been close friends with the show’s break-out star,  Teresa Giudice. One can only assume that Envy and their family will be regular fixtures on the show, along with some potential drama. If the rumors are true, or you MORE or LESS likely to watch the new season?
