PETA Pissed At Beyonce’s Super Bowl Outfit
Even Queen Beyonce can’t escape PETA’s animal rights wrath. The very vocal group is fuming mad about what Beyonce wore for her Super Bowl half-time show. They released the following statement:
We would take a bet that if Beyoncé watched our video exposés here and here, she’d probably not want to be seen again in anything made of snakes, lizards, rabbits, or other animals who died painfully. Today’s fashions are trending toward humane vegan options, and Beyoncé’s Super Bowl outfit missed the mark on that score.
So what exactly was Bey’s outfit made of?
According to the Huff Post and the designer of the fancy number:
“strips of engineered python, paneled iguana and trapunto/pick stitched leather”
And here’s a video of Rubin explaining Bey’s Super Bowl fashion.
No word from Bey’s camp, but we doubt she’s too concerned as she rocked a eye-catching fur at the Inauguration and eyelashes made of mink fur.
