Chris Rock, Tony Bennett Hit Nation’s Capital to Fight For Gun Control
Chris Rock, Martin Luther King III and other celebs gathered in Washington DC for a press conference in support of President Obama’s call for stricter gun laws. Actresses Amanda Peet Smith and Anna Deavere, actor Adam Scott along with an Aurora shooting survivor supported the Mayors Against Illegal Guns sponsored event. Rock addressed the media stating:
The president and the first lady are kind of like the mom and the dad of the country, and when your dad says something, you listen. And when you don’t, it usually bites you in the ass later on.
