Jamie Foxx Travels to Miami, Attends Trayvon Martin Peace Rally + Teyana Taylor Parties in ATL

Wondering why Jamie Foxx skipped town (Los Angeles) and missed this year’s Grammy Awards? Turns out, he was giving back, lending emotional support to Trayvon Martin’s parents, Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin.

On Saturday, Miami held a ‘Day Of Remembrance Peace Walk’, in honor of the local high school student, who was shot to death by a neighborhood watchman after being spotted walking in his father’s girlfriend’s gated neighborhood in Sanford. Jamie also spoke at the event.

In an interview with NBC6 he explained:

“The thing is with press, and you know how press goes, it will be a hot story at one point. It will be the thing to go to and, all of a sudden, they try to forget about it. And I said I don’t want anybody to forget about this, because they can’t forget about the fact that they lost their son. And the thing is, we’re not asking for anything out of the ordinary. We’re asking for justice.”

And in other entertainment news, over the weekend, Teyana Taylor was spotted partying it up at Atlanta’s Compound night club. The 22-year-old GOOD Music singer, rocked Karrueche’s The KILL hat line, pairing it with killer over-the-knee, Louboutin boots. Check out a few pix.
