NeYo Hit With Lawsuit By Former Baby Mama, Jesseca White

The sorta-kinda ex-baby mama of singer/producer Ne-Yo (real name Shaffer Chimere Smith) is taking her talents to court, crying foul play. Her name is Jesseca White and she and NeYo dated before he blew up. At the time of their relationship, she had a child by another man (in 2005), who NeYo claimed was his.

So what’s the issue? NeYo discussed his relationship with Jesseca on his VH1 ‘Behind the Music‘. According to TMZ, she feels like she was portrayed negatively, painted as

 “an unchaste woman who deliberately tricked him into believing he was the father of her child … so that she could fraudulently bilk him of ‘ungodly amounts of money.'”

Jesseca says that because of the show, NeYo’s fans and the public have been aggressively negative towards her, calling her everything but a child of god. She’s also noted that her profession (as a graphic designer and photographer) has negatively suffered. She is suing for unspecified damages.
