Sheree Whitfield Unpleased With Iyanla: Fix My Life: ‘I Felt Misled’
DMX (real name Earl Simmons) ain’t the only one pissy these days with one of OWN’s popular shows, Iyanla: Fix My Life. Last weekend, Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Sheree Whitfield and her ex-hubby, Bob Whitfield, took their problems to TV, for expert advice for Iyanla Vanzant.
And while we were conflicted on whether or not the show helped them co-parent, Sheree is none too pleased about her experience. Reportedly, the ex reality star has released a statement, telling us exactly why she felt the session was ‘one sided’:
I thought it was an opportunity to inspire single parents in our situation. However, once shooting began I felt misled because the line of questioning was centered more on accusations of my shortcomings as a wife versus how we can begin to resolve our issues…Although I was caught off guard by what felt like a very one-sided and judgmental approach to therapy, what I did take away from this experience is that I must continue to take responsibility for doing the work to be a better person. I am completely committed to making sure that I am a positive and healthy mother for my children and being a role model for the young women that I mentor.

She said shes wants to take responsibility but here she is blaming someone else for what happened. No one made her go on the show. She is no role model.
@ The Mrs…so TRUE! Nobody made you go on that show. Sheree need to stop blaming people for her problems. She just mad because Iyanla called her out about that house. They say the truth hurt. The reason why she feel Iyanla didn’t fix her life is because she was not being honest and to me she was acting like she was on a movie acting…she wasnt real. Sheree got so many problems that Iyanla is not going to be able to fix them. She need to fall down on her knees and start praying to God for help because Sheree is to fake she need to get real.
That has been the problem with Sheree all the long. Blame someone else to make herself look good. It is all about the money. She needs to let it go and raise her kids. If she is doing the right things her kids will know if the problem is with her or with her father or with both.

Sheree just wanted more television time! She’s in denial about her own faults. She’s greedy and selfish. I nearly jumped out my skin when Iyanla pointed out that that unfinished big house was not and never about her kids but all for her own ego. She’s delusional and stubborn. How she gonna help someone else when she won’t accept the mess she’s created?! She is really delusional if she thought someone would be inspired by her pathetic life! This woman wore designer clothes and bags, drove expensive cars she could not afford to keep all on television while in the next scene, cries and begs for child support! Jesus can only fix her selfish behind. Sheree didn’t like how she was portrayed and that is like the selfish, greedy ex-wife she is!
