Married To Medicine creator and star, Mariah Huq is the latest celebrity to join ‘Saving Our Daughters‘. The non profit organizations goal is to get young girls, teens and women in general, to discuss key issues and educate the public about bullying, (cyber, gossip, face-to-face,…), date abuse, hate crimes, school violence and violence against women. The reality star recently confirmed her involvement, explaining:
I joined ‘Saving Our Daughters’ because it is an amazing cause and brings awareness of domestic violence and sexual abuse. I enjoy mentoring and motivating young women to realize their potential, and thought this would be a wonderful way to do it. When Jasmine [Brand] mentioned the organization I was thrilled at the opportunity to be a part of it! I would like to show our youth that everyone is born with an inner purpose, and it is so important to connect to it and make a positive impact on the world around us.
Kelly Rowland, K.Michelle, Mimi Faust, Keke Palmer and others have linked their star power to the organization.
