Matt Barnes & Gloria Govan Stunt In the Kitchen For EBONY + Basketball Wives of LA’s Brooke Bailey Throws Hollywood Splash Party

It looks like the days of Gloria Govan, bickering with cast mates on reality TV are long gone, as the former Basketball Wives of LA star has her sights set on focusing on another type of branding business. The 27-year-old newly married ‘basketball wive’ is gracing the inside of EBONY magazine, NBA baller hubby Matt Barnes and twin sons included, dishing on one of our favorite things–Food! The couple has launched a new YouTube series, Cooking With the Barnes, featuring 30-minute dinners and easy appetize.

Matt likes to take charge when he’s in the kitchen. He likes to throw down with his barbecue sandwiches and Parmesan-coated tacos. He says, ‘Let me show you how to do it.’ I’m like, ‘Relax.’ I come from a big family, so I’m used to having people here all the time,” says Gloria, who has nine siblings. Since they have friends and family over at least three times a week. I don’t know how to do small. I’m used to doing big.

Apparently, Hollywood reality TV stars know how to ‘turn-up’, in an entertaining type of way. Over the weekend, Brooke Bailey hosted the annual birthday party for “Baldhead.” The private red carpet event went down in the Hollywood Hills. After a few drinks the friends and family affair transformed into an hour long wet t-shirt contest hosted by Brooke and Philly rapper Gillie Da Kid. We also spotted NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles player DeSean Jackson. Peep a few pics.
