Welp, three days and nights full of non-stop musical entertainment is OVAH! Compliments of Essence Magazine’s annual Essence Festival, music lovers took over the Superdome and convention center.

Music lovers, caught an array of soulful singers and newbies–Brandy, Maxwell, Jill Scott, Luke James, Bridget Kelly, Janelle Monet, LL Cool J, Emil Sande, Blackstreet, Chrisette Michel, Solange, Keyshia Cole, Faith Evans, Trey Songz, New Edition, the list goes on and on. The festival also included a number of entertainment and educational sessions (at the convention center), along with some non-official events and parties (hosted by celebs like Kelly Price, Spinderella, Doug E Fresh, Wale, Kevin Hart, Morris Chestnut, etc.) Jasmine BRAND (*raises hand*) was there celebrity stalking on your behalf.
