Beyonce Debuts ‘Bow Down’ Performance for H-Town + Tyra Banks’ Business Hustle Continues With ‘The Hunt’
FINALLY, Beyonce Knowles brought her new (and sorta kinda controversial song) ‘Bow Down‘ to the ‘Mrs. Carter Show’ tour. And which lucky city did she debut it at? Her native Houston of course. As you’ll recall, this past spring, fans and critics were buzzing about the track, as the H-Town native sang lyrics like:
I know when you were little girls, you dreamed of being in my world, don’t forget it, respect that, bow down b*tches.
And Monday evening, she performed the track for the first time, for the Houston crowd. Check it out.

And here’s another version.
And in totally non-related news…Tyra Banks’ brand continues to grow.
This week, she announced that her company, Fierce Capital, LLC, will be investing in The Hunt, the first community-driven online shopping experience that makes social media photos shoppable. According to Black Enterprise, this is Tyra’s first fashion investment for her recently formed Fierce Capital, LLC, the investment arm of The Tyra Banks Company (she is Chairman and CEO). The Hunt’s goal is to identify, develop and invest in early-stage startup companies, including firms that are female-led or female-focused. Based in San Francisco, The Hunt is the first community-driven online shopping experience that makes it easy and fun to shop for the things you see in photos on sites like Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram and Tumblr. In a statement, Tyra explained:
The Hunt brings a fun and innovative approach to shopping and fashion. What I love most about The Hunt is that women help other women find their perfect outfit H2T [head-to-toe]. I am excited to be part of this new approach to collective retail and styling.
Sweet.
