She’s Single Again! Elle Varner Announces Her Break-Up With NBA Baller Boyfriend, Iman Shumpert

She’s back to living the single life! This week, 26-year-old singer Elle Varner gave an update on her relationship status. The New Yorker publicly shared earlier this summer that she was dating New York Knick Iman Shumpert, but was trying to keep their relationship low-key. In an interview this summer with Vibe, she explained:

Making a relationship public draws a lot of scrutiny. It makes you think about something you were never thinking about before so I don’t know if I would advocate public relations to folks but hey, it is what it is. We’re good. He’s dope. You can’t even say he’s a good basketball player.

She continued:

He’s dope, period, and I support him with that. He just keeps getting better and better from the first time I heard him to now and he inspires me in a way that he takes risks, doing what he wants to do. He don’t care what everybody says or how he looks. He does what he wants.

Fast forward to the present day and she surprisingly made an announcement:

I’m single….please don’t ask me a million questions I won’t answer any of them ?????????no drama here just peace and love ????
