[Photos] The ‘Real’ Basketball Wives Meet for Annual ‘Behind the Bench’ Conference
I’ll admit, when I hear the term ‘basketball wife‘, the first thing that comes to mind is VH1’s popular reality show, Basketball Wives, starring women who, by chance are no longer married to professional basketball players. And while I’m certainly entertain weekly, theres another side of NBA wives. ‘Behind the Bench’, The National Basketball Wives Association, is an organization composed of current and retired NBA players’ wives and their life partners. Over the weekend, the group held their annual conference which included community service, a charity event and a few parties. We spotted a few familiar NBA wives including: Tracey Mourning, Kristina Ratliff, Renee Taplin Jones, Deidra Toney, Dee Brown and Natosha Dooling. Peep some of the candid shots of their annual conference.
