Days after their VH1 biopic hit (Crazy Sexy Cool: the TLC Story), shattering record numbers, the discussion continues between two unpleased women who were included in the story. Original member Crystal Jones and Pebbles (responsible for signing TLC) have publicly shared their displeasure with how they were portrayed, suggesting that the movie was in fact, in accurate. And, so the saga continues. This week, both T-Boz and Chilli visited V-103’s ‘Big Tigger Show‘, responding to both Crystal and Pebbles, not backing down on anything show in the film. Check out a few excerpts.
On ousted member Crystal’s comments:
T-Boz: So Crystal, I would be mad if I got kicked out of my own group too and TLC blew up. I would have some harbored feelings so I understand her, so sorry…She put out our movie, trying to sabotage it…with a code and put it on the internet…It’s no need for all that…I’ve apologized for the way things went down…I did bring Pebbles to the table…the way me and Lisa handled it may have not been the best…but I’m not at 43 after saying sorry gonna talk about some mess…All these scorned heffas need to get over it…pray about it and grow…like get over it!
On Pebbles comments that she was portrayed inaccurately:
T-Boz: The one thing you can’t take from her, we’ve always said, she helped us out so much….She did a lot for our career and that you can’t take….but if you’re telling a story and it’s even 20 years ago….You can’t tell someone how they’re perceived situations from their end…how they felt. That doesn’t take away the good that you did…We’re telling a story of what happened…now we’re 19, 20 and that’s exactly what happened…No I didn’t appreciate paying a million dollars per name…There are certain things we don’t have to like…You move on from certain people…I’m not a bitter person…I let things go and I move on….
On why Jermaine Dupri wasn’t included in the film:
Chilli: It was just hard to get everybody…we talked about everybody…T-Boz: There’s only so much we can do…we tried our best…And JB, I’ve always said, he’s the one that told me…You should keep that, I’mma call you Scruffy….We wanted a whole week and 2 hours a night…

I really think this should have been a 2 part movie, like the Jackson story. And the ratings for his beat the Jackson movie. It really should have been 2 parts. That way they could have included more important players like Jermaine.
