[Photos] She Sings AND Cooks! Nas Ex-Wife, Kelis, Shows Off Her Culinary Skills
Outside of bringing boys to the yard, luring them with her culinary skills seems to be a hobby of Kelis. We recently caught the 34-year-old singer and ex-wife to Nas, showing off her skills, alongside a fellow chef at at the Beverly Hills Food and Wine Festival. We can’t make out exactly what she made, but looks like she threw down. And if you’re surprised to see her in the kitchen, you shouldn’t be in. In a 2010 interview with The Daily Record, the singer shared that she was d*mn close to making this her full-time profession. She explained:
I studied to be a chef as a side thing, a little hobby that I enjoyed doing, but I ended up falling madly in love with the food and the lifestyle. I needed a break and going to culinary school turned a lightbulb on that I didn’t have to make music, the people in the music business forget that not only is there an entire world of people out there who do not care what we do, we are not creating the wheel.”
Check out some more snaps of her showing off her skills.
