Ouch! Erykah Badu Shows Off Her New Nose Ring

It’s probably not as painful as it looks, right?

Erykah Badu (real name Erykah Abi Wright) certainly marches to the beat of her own fashion drum. This week the 42-year-old singer caused quite a stir when she showed off her over-sized nose right. She shared the photo on twitter with folk praising and igging her nose accessory.

Riccardo Tisci (Creative Director for Givenchy) explained to Style why he casted her:

Erykah, she’s an icon—come on! What I want to do with my advertising campaign is spread the love. Already now it’s been three seasons that I’ve been using people that express something—they are great artists, or beautiful women, or stylish women, or models that I really believe in. It’s kind of a family portfolio. She’s one of the most stylish women I’ve met in my life. She’s got such a good sense of proportion, of colors.
