[VIDEO] No Longer Single! Loni Love Introduces Her 23-Year-Old Boyfriend on ELLEN
Comedian/TV host Loni Love has landed herself a Pretty Young Thang (PYT).
How do we know? Because The Real co-host introduced him this week on the Ellen Degenerous Show. The introduction was actually not Loni’s idea, but Ellen’s. Last year, on a segment during the show, Ellen told Loni (who regularly appears on the popular daytime show) that she was single and absolutely available. Ellen told both Loni and the audience that she was making it her mission to play Cupid and find her a man.
Wednesday (January 15th), Loni appeared to do her Loni’s Love Update segment and to her surprise, Ellen brought out her new man, Sam. And it looks like Loni, who is 42-years-old, likes her men young. The handsome young man, who works in the music business, is barely legal. When asked by Ellen if he was REALLY 23, he replied.
I’m 23. Yes, I am.
Loni added:
That’s how I do it baby, I like ’em young!
Sam recalled how the two met, sharing:
We met at a comedy club…She was eating nachos.
Loni made the first move, but joked:
I was eating my nachos, drinking my brown liquor minding my business.
She asked him if he wanted a drink the rest was dating history. Watch the full clip.
Loni’s approach to love and dating is spelled out, firsthand in her first comedy advice book titled “Love Him Or Leave Him But Don’t Get Stuck With The Tab”.
Last year, we interviewed her and she explained that she was absolutely fine with not being married.
I’m what you call a satisfied single. I don’t want to give any trip reports when I come home. I like having peace and quiet in my life and I am perfectly happy in my relationships.
She did hint that she hasn’t ruled out an exclusive relationship or even marriage (she’s been married once before).
I will never say never but I can tell you right now – I am perfectly happy with being who I am. I just – I really – I’m an entertainer and the thing that I’d decided to work on was my career and I decided the energy that I was putting in certain relationships – I was really kind of wasting my time and I knew it. So I said, I would take that energy and put it into my career. And now look – I’m on a talk show, I have a book that I wrote – I mean, it takes concentration for those things but it happened. So, I’m not that I’ll never say never but right now, I enjoy my life, I truly do enjoy being single and I don’t really want to get married. I don’t want to get married – I’ve been there, and done that. So I know what I’m talking about when I say that. And for everybody has a different path – find out your path!
Loni Love and The Real return this fall.
