NeNe Leakes Apologizes, Blames Kenya Moore & Bad Editing For RHOA Fight
One day after the first ‘REAL’ physical brawl on the Real Housewives of Atlanta and fans of the BRAVO are still buzzing. If you watched Sunday’s episode, then you witnessed a fight involving Apollo Nida (Phaedra Parks’ husband), Brandon (Kenya Moore’s close friend), and singer Christopher Williams who’s made a few cameo appearances on the show. Fast forward to the present day and most of the cast has chimed in. NeNe Leakes, the cast member responsible for organizing the event, penned a lengthy explanation about the disaster.
In short, NeNe suggest that Kenya is responsible for the brawl and hints that some unfair editing played a part in what viewers didn’t see. Check out her personal post below.
I created this game called “Pillow Talk” and it all started from Gregg and I basically discussing our day once we got in bed at night! Obviously this party is for adults only with adult topics and content. I was the hostess with the mostess! The guests were invited along with a dress code and everyone knew what they were walking into. My intentions were to build couple unity within the group but as you can see, things got turnt all the way up! You ask why? Everybody in the room were asked questions that were touchy because that was the bases of the game! We all answered, including me and Gregg. We really had fun with it contrary to what you thought you saw and I stress “what you thought you saw” because there are always intentions for these parties or group gatherings which is totally out of my control!
Let’s get to the good stuff: Kenya arrived three hours late to the party! I was really aggravated because we can’t really end the scene until all housewives have arrived! Keeping it real is what I do! Some might call it messy, but see it as you may!
Christopher had a question in his hand that he wanted to answer standing up for reasons unbeknownst to me! I walked past Christopher and took my seat! He then began to speak to Kenya about the false accusations Kenya had told his wife. Chris’s wife Natalie started saying “don’t back paddle now” and Kenya got up and charged out of her seat towards Natalie (but you couldn’t see that part) (I wonder why?). Chris stepped in to stop her but not in an aggressive way. Kenya then got all extra saying take your hands off on me! Her girlfriend in the red pajamas jumped up in Chris’s face and that’s when the explosion started. I don’t condone violence! I can’t control adults and it’s not my fault if adults decide to fight on their own!
In my opinion Kenya was the spark that lit the fire. Whenever she’s around, we have the worst times! I’ve been on this show from the very beginning and we have NEVER had a physical altercation on this show! I am all about a good read, throwing shade and even getting you together when need be but violence is never okay to me. I think it’s a sad display of behavior and I think it is sad to the black community to be a part of such negative activity! I am bigger, I am better and for that I apologize!
Here’s a few questions I would like to ask you: why do you think they let Kenya narrate the whole fight scene? Why do you think they took the part out when Kenya was charging across the room? All the housewives would say we were having a good time! Why do you think they showed it as if we were not? Thanks for watching!

Nene with her dog teeth started the altacation. She is a hoodrat, she will always resort to hoodrat behavior. She was all the way turned up. Her line of questioning was so Bene Leakes. I don’t think Kenya started this mess. Nene needs to come clean. Like Wendy Williams said, this show will not be getting any airtime from my home.

Yes I agree!! Kenya did get out of her seat and go towards Natalie and christopher stepped in to keep her back and Kenya got all extra and started saying take you hands off me! Her friend was all aggressive like he wanted to fight. I think Kenya and that guy came there with intentions to stir things up. That is what she does. Before she came on the show it was messy, but not this messy and everything involves her.
Nene started all of that and why people keep saying Kenya got up? That grown man was up standing over trying to talk down to her and she got up to defend herself had he not got up Kenya would have not got up, and Nene calling Brandon a a girl because he is gay shows her true color, thats why her show was canceled because people like her.
Nene is a trouble and someone should have kicked her ass!
Shut up Ne Ne, you must’ve forgot about when you tried viciously to attack Kim on that couch bus. You were the only person evoking the conflict with your messy questions. Can you keep your story straight first you said she was an hour late, now it’s 3 hours. If Christopher was allowed to stand and berate Kenya, surely Kenya can stand and make her point or defend herself. In this scene Porsha could tell Christopher was being threatening, that’s why she asked him to have a seat. Ne Ne states that Kenya made false accusation to Christopher’s “wife” Natalie, when in fact she did not. They are not married, maybe their spiritually married, but their not legally married. There’s already a video of him admitting he’s not married in a recent interview here in Atlanta after a concert he did. Go somewhere and sit down girl!!!

(Question)What does marriage have to do with anything? (Answer) Uhm let’s see, the whole beef between Christopher, Natalie, & Kenya is about whether their “LEGALLY”married or not.
You commented that Kenya got up to confront Chris’s wife, isn’t that what Christopher did to Kenya? Since when does a man need to protect another woman from his woman, and please note Kenya wasn’t getting up to physically attack her, but everybody knows Christopher Williams has a past of abuse towards women.

“being married” has something to do with it because that is what the entire fight was about. That is why he stood up, that is what his non-wife was in the background screaming about and there is video proof that Kenya was telling the truth.

Absolutely Mika, and now NeNe is trying to deflect the attention off of her messy azz, and onto Kenya, I’m no Kenya fan, but clearly she did not start the fight, Nene and her hood rat azz did, listen to the question she asked Porsha if that wasn’t messy then I don’t know what was. And then the way Nene was getting all turned up, pacing the floor getting agitated. what and why for? Because she is shit starter number one always will be. he shows all got cancelled so she has to do something to stay in the game.
I watched the episode again & NeNe is correct on what “we saw”. I believe they edited out the play nice parts and left the whole fight scene to do exactly what they achieved; ratings! keep people talking, etc… Kenya was definitely the spark that ignited everything by coming at Natalie & Kenya also has become the trouble maker of the bunch. She is obviously trying to be the breakout star this season and who knows, she might have a pact or agreement behind the scenes with producers to do just that? But it’s changing the whole dynamic of the show, taking it from class to trash & 2 minutes from another ghetto fabulous mess. As shocking and unfortunately, entertaining as it was, they really need to snap it back.
I’d also like to add that I think some of NeNe’s questions were out of pocket. They were bound to start some mess!
Nene’s entire EXISTENCE causes mess. Every scene she’s in watch her. She is ALWAYS asking the questions that will get drama started. It must be in her contract.
We all watched Kenya walk over to the wife. It wasn’t edited out, I don’t knwo what the heck Nene is talking about. Kenya was definitely aggressive, but there was nothing in her demeanor that suggested she was about to get physical. Nene would have done exactly the same thing with more volume, so Ms. Giant Tooth can go somewhere and sit. I think that Nene is uncomfortable with how much Kenya is turning into RHOA new pot stirrer, and she is trying to sabotage her. I’m not saying Kenya isn’t cray. But nene is a damned dragon.
Omg you are so right! Nene is so messy. I mean a serial shade thrower. And as soon as Chris approached Kenya and said ” IDK what kind of medication you are on” and so forth” she as well as everyone else should recognize that as confrontational which automatically gives her the right to stand up! The Porsha question was messy and so was the one to make Kandi and Phaedra uncomfortable because of Chuck. Her puppet Cynthia tried to egg it on until Peter made her look like the nut she is when he said he and Leon hang out! She may be desparate with those shows being cancelled but this was a bad hit for her!

You are a true definition of an instigator which is a person who stirs up public feelings especially of discontent and then always tries to be the one innocently standing by once the fighting begins. Your intentions were to create more drama between these other couples and then try to make yourself like a peacemaker. Sorry it didn’t work. Next time if you’re really serious about stopping the violence take a good look within yourself first to create change and peace.

And Christopher was asked “why are you standing”, if everyone was suppose to keep their seat, then why didn’t he? And what was SUPER strange was how hopped up on something Nene was. Kandi mentioned how she kept pacing and bouncing and that’s all she did the entire time! Either she was anxious bc she knew she was kicking up dirt, or she was on something other than her vodka. ijs

I’m really not a Kenya fan…this whole “game” was realllll messy…buttt…this one isnt really on Kenya…Chris Williams has an interview he did like June of last year…he infact DID NOT claim Natalie as his wife…so folks should not say Kenya was lyeing about that issue…I know some folks might be made but all the RHOA cast have been messy from time to time..its just TV…Ratings…SMH

The truth is that NeNe stirred this pot. And an alleged former victim of domestic violence, why did she believe that Kenya should remaining sitting while a man approaches her while verbally attacking her? Any victim of domestic violence will tell you that it starts with angry words and intimidating physical posture before the abuse begins. A “real” victim of domestic violence knows the signs of an abusive person and would never advise a potential victim to be subservient by “remaining in their seat” while being angrily approached. Moreover, abusers always blame the victim. If there was domestic violence in NeNe’s past, I wonder if NeNe was the victim…
