They constantly mentioned Johnny Carson and people taking Johnny’s title, I actually am the only guy who competed and survived against Johnny Carson and I’m not up there. But I’m still smiling.

This is not about them, this is about journalism. Brian Williams Im sure he is  good news man but there has to be a reason for this journalistic debacle.

He then encouraged the audience to call NBC on his behalf and brought out Suge Knight for some help,

 Call Brian and ask him why they don’t mention me.

I don’t want to come off as the angry black man, so I’m taking it in the spirit that I should. But I’ve got a friend in my dressing room.

Suge: You are West Coast. We are going to give them so many days, so many hours to respond.

Last night, Williams issued a formal apology during his show,

Arsenio is a late-night veteran and he took us to task on his show. He even urged audience members to call our newsroom. So, in apologizing to Arsenio we just wanted to point out that at least you’re in good company here.

He also noted, that NBC News having recently having to apologize to a U.S. Senator and spelling the City of Brotherly Love incorrectly “PHILADELPIA” Williams added,

So, chalk it up to being on the air at 4 AM in the morning in Russia — but it won’t happen again.
