Kim Kardashian FINALLY Makes VOGUE Cover With Kanye West: #WorldsMostTalkedAboutCouple

Kim Kardashian has finally made the cover of VOGUE. Both she and fiance Kanye West are covering the April issue of the publication known for its high profile fashion and lifestyle content.

Kanye’s partner, Virgil Alboh, shared the cover on his Instagram writing: 

A couple homies. Doing their thing.

Kim’s BFF, Jonathan Cheban, shared his excitement on their cover, writing:

Congrats Kim and Kanye on your gorgeous Vogue cover!!

Kim beamed on Twitter:

This is such a dream come true!!! Thank you @VogueMagazine for this cover! O M GGGGGG!!! I can’t even breath!

As expected, both Ye and Kim go conservatively, yet high-end fashionably chic. Shot by Annie Leibovitz, Kim wears wedding white gowns, while Kanye sports leather pants, tight tees and tailored suits in the full spread. The couple’s daughter, North, is also included .

Very few men cover VOGUE. In 2008, Miami Heat’s LeBron James covered the mag, along with supermodel Gisele Bundchen. The other two males that covered the magazine were George Clooney and Richard Gere. LeBron was the first black man to snag the cover. After it’s release, Anna Wintour (editor-in-chief) received criticism with some suggesting that the cover was a prejudicial depiction of LeBron because his pose with Gisele was reminiscent of a poster for the film King Kong.

For years, it’s been speculated that Anna was against the 33-year-old reality star on the cover.Last November, Radar Online reported that Kanye had been pressuring her for the cover wearing her wedding dress. He reported enlisted famed photographer, Mario Testino, a favorite of Anna’s, to assist. During an interview last year with Ryan Seacrest, Ye said,

There is no way Kim Kardashian shouldn’t be on the cover ofVogue. She is the most intriguing woman right now. She has got Barbara Walters calling her like everyday.

A source told the outlet:

Anna is NO fan of Kim or any reality star appearing in the pages of the magazine.
