[EXCLUSIVE] ‘Black Mafia Family’ Wife Lisa Buford Joins ‘LA Hair’
There’s a fresh reality TV face joining ‘LA Hair‘.
The show which follows celebrity stylist Kim Kimble as she helps her socialite clients into owning the most fabulous hair at her salon, Kimble Hair Studio, is returning this fall and promises to bring the drama with it’s cast. theJasmineBRAND.com, has learned exclusively that professional barber, Lisa Buford has snagged a chair at the salon and has been officially casted. Her niche? Celebrities. She’s a regular barber for the likes of Martin Lawrence, Cedrick the Entertainer, DeVon Franklin and works on a number of film sets.
If her name or face sounds familiar it’s because she was rumored to be on another reality show. Lisa is married to a member of the notorious incarcerated Black Mafia Family (BMF). In fact, she was one of the cast members on the show, BMF Wives, which never was picked up. Last year, when news hit about the rumored show, Lisa told Baller Alert that it would be nothing like VH1’s “Mob Wives”:
No! like I said, we’re bosses. These men chose bosses. If you look at my Twitter at all you will understand my mind frame. We don’t even get down like that. Not to say we wouldn’t get down like that if someone else came at us but we’re taught ‘United We Stand Divided We Fall’. When there is a division within the group there’s no structure. We’re not going to break each other down, we’re going to hold each other up. That’s what we’re going to do and we’re going to be a strong force to be reckoned with.
While the BMF Wives never was picked up, Lisa has taken her talents to LA Hair. This season, we’ll see Lisa service her celebrity clients including: Ray J, Too Short and a few other famous faces. What’s more? We’re told that Lisa has BIG beef with another one of the cast mates, which results in a HUGE altercation. It’s highly unlikely that the network will air anything physical, but an intense yelling match does go down. Anywho, check out a few photos of Lisa in her element.
Last month, we chatted with Kim Kimble who shared us exclusively that it’s HIGHLY likely that LA Hair has landed a spin-off, in Atlanta. Watch the full interview below.
