[Photos] Tavis Smiley Lands Hollywood Star + Jay Leno, Larry King Attend

 Congrats to Tavis Smiley! The journalist/media personality was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Thursday, April 24th. The 49-year-old native shared his excitement writing on Twitter:

Feeling honored for the 2,522nd star on #HWOF, but most of all for friends, family & supporters along this journey.

Tavis is widely known for both his radio and talk shows. Both Jay Leno and Larry King were on hand to help Tavis unveil is star. Other celebs inducted into the ‘Walk of Fame’ include: Kenny ‘Babyface’ Edmonds, Katy Perry, Destiny’s Child and Jennifer Lopez.
