Beyonce Sends Congrats to #KimYe + Why Did the Couple Skip KimYe’s Wedding?
Rumor has it, two very important celebrity friends were a no-show at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s wedding. Reportedly, Beyonce and Jay Z did not attend the couple’s Florence, Itally wedding Saturday. According to Us Weekly, instead the couple traveled to the Hamptons for the Memorial Day Weekend holiday.
We’ve done some digging and there have been no photos of Beyonce or Jay Z at the wedding ceremony, nor have photos surfaced of them in Hamptons. Saturday afternoon, Beyonce posted a selfie of herself. In the photo, she appears to be relaxing in a bed. Folk suggest that the Instagram post was shared around the same time as the #KimYe wedding.
We’re guessing that there may be a slight possibility that the couple pop-up for the wedding reception, but it doesn’t seem likely at this point. If Jay & Bey did skip their big day, inquiring minds want to know–why?
The street speculation points to a number of unconfirmed reasons why. Earlier this year, sources said that Jay and Bey didn’t want to be filmed and participate in Kim’s E! show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians. There have been conflicting reports as to how much of the wedding will be filmed.
Other reports speculate that after the Solange elevator brawl, they didn’t want to attend. Specifically, some point the cause for the elevator spat over designer Rachel Roy, who was in attendance at the #KimYe wedding.

Lol that’s so shady! Kim herself said that the wedding wouldn’t be filmed. So what’s the real reason they didn’t go? It’s so odd that they always call each other brothers and they are all family and portray being so close and they weren’t there? Very odd.
Maybe with all the attention they got recently involving the elevator incident, they didn’t want to take the attention away from the bride and groom.
I thought the same.The only difference is I just think the fact that they’re a high profiled couple as well.They didn’t want to take any attention away from Kim and Kanye.
I was thinking the same thing. They are already a high-profiled couple then add Elevator-gate…the papps would have made about The Carters and not The West–which isn’t right. I wouldn’t have wanted them there either. I am sure they were Skyping the wedding.
