Basketball Wives LA’s Sundy Carter Releases Statement After DUI Arrest: ‘I Vow to NEVER Make This Mistake Again’

Everyday I strive to become a better example for my family, friends and fans, the decision I made is far from one that I’m proud of. I vow to never make this mistake again and I truly apologize to those I have disappointed. I hope my lesson can serve as an example to others that it’s far more important to have a designated driver, being responsible is key- it can become the difference between life and death.

As previously reported, Sundy was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving. According to E!, the Glendale Police Department says she was asked to give a blood or a breath sample after allegedly crossing over a double yellow line and traveling westbound in the eastbound traffic lane near Kenneth Road and Hillcrest Avenue around 1 a.m. Tuesday. Reportedly, she provided  a breath sample and blew a .18 percent twice–the legal limit is .08 percent.  Sundy posted the $10k required bail and was later released.
