I just feel like the Civil Rights Movement was a very notable time in our history.To me it stands alone.I have nothing against transgenders,homosexuals and any other groups that fight to be accepted in this country.But,I don’t like how it’s thrown in with the Civil Rights Movement.That time should be held sacred and it should stand alone.
Blacks were fighting to be treated like human beings.We were looked at as slaves and not even human beings.I just don’t think their struggle is the same.
