[Photos] Missy Elliott & Queen Latifah Spotted At Singer Tweet’s Concert
Where has singer Tweet (real name Charlene Keys) been these days? Apparently, hitting the stage. The 43-year-old who garnered our attention in 2002 with the hit ‘Oops (Oh, My)’, has returned to music (she’s dropped two additional albums since Southern Hummingbird). Over the weekend, we caught her performing a sold-out show in Atlanta.
Backstage, we caught her with the likes of Missy Elliott (who discovered her) and Queen Latifah, along with her adult daughter (who looks like her sister!).
After Tweet’s show, her daughter (photographed above) penned a heartfelt message on Instagram, beaming about her mother’s show. She wrote:
last night I watched my mom in a new light! It’s sometimes hard to appreciate great people when you are always around them! But she has become one of my favorite artists! And one of my best friends! I’ve always wanted true loyalty love and support and I had it in her all along!!!! Mom you are what music needs! We appreciate you for never compromising who u are! Your music heals! Seriously!! This is only the beginning!! Love you so much!!!! @tweet_
Sweet!
