[INTERVIEW] Elle Varner Reveals Secret To Getting Over An Ex, Calls Four Letter Word ‘Intense’

the Jasmine Brand: Tell us about your next album, The Four Letter Word.

Elle Varner: Four Letter Word is a very intense album. Some of it is personal, actually a lot of it and I really took my time making something honest and real to me. I don’t filter myself for anyone and what you see is what you get. I hope people love it, if they don’t, it wasn’t for them. I know I did the best of my ability.

The Jasmine Brand: How did you bounce back from your public break-up?

Elle Varner: I really took time for myself to really get into my own space. It actually built me up to be a much stronger person.  That’s all you can ever hope for. Sometimes what seems like a loss is really a win in disguise.
