[INTERVIEW] Charli Baltimore Talks Rumored Beef With Faith Evans, Lil Kim & New Album
Despite having a few musical bumps in the road, rapper Charli Baltimore (real name Tiffany Lane), seems to be making noise. While most of us were introduced to the Philadelphia-bred rapper via the late Notorious B.I.G. and later Murda Inc., she’s returned with new music (last year, she dropped her Hard 2 Kill mixtape).
theJasmineBRAND.com correspondent Smith, recently caught up with her (at the Beauty and The Beast SWAG Pre ESPY’S). In addition to discussing her relationship with Faith Evans (for years, we’ve heard that she and Faith had beef over Biggie) and rapper Lil Kim, Charli updates fans on her music career, fashion and what she’s learned about love. Check out the conversation.
theJasmineBRAND.com: Congratulations on your BET nomination, how did that feel?
Charli: It felt great because it was just a mixtape and I haven’t even put out the album yet and it’s a new label. Me and my partner Co are on the label together so it’s a great feeling.
theJasmineBRAND.com: What about your music, what can we expect next?
Charli: Better than the Hard to Kill mixtape so I’m excited.
theJasmineBRAND.com: Are you going to put out an album soon?
Charli: Yes, before the end of the year.
theJasmineBRAND.com: Recently we saw that you took a picture with Faith Evans and back in the day there were some rumors of beef possibly because of your relationship with Biggie, how is your relationship with Faith now?
