Awkward Much? Onyx’s Fredro & Charlmagne Almost Come to Blows Over Comments About Brandy
This isn’t the first time and it certainly won’t be the last. Radio personality Charlamgne Tha God had an extremely awkward interview, this morning with Onyx, on Power 105’s The Breakfast Club. Onyx, a 90s rap group, came by the show for a typical interview.
Things got extremely heated when Charlamagne started to bring up the fact that Fredro Starr received fellatio from singer Brandy back when they worked on her sitcom, Moesha. Fredro exploded when her name was mentioned and proceeded to bring up Charlamagne’s eye-punching incident repeatedly.
Both men went back and forth for a while and co-host Angela Yee tried to break up the tension and pointed out that this was “awkward.”
DJ Envy tried to explain that the moments he’s shared with Brandy were a part of history but Fredro was both insulted and upset.
The tension between the two eventually died down and once Fredro confirmed this Charlamagne asked if they needed “five minutes.” Fredro confidently said “no” because “if we needed it if would have happened already.”

i like Charlamagne and the breakfast club but sometimes they go overboard with getting into people’s private lives honestly. But Fredro did get pretty heated tho lol

I like Charlmagne and The Breakfast Club. Why don’t these current/relevant celebrities and has beens get it? Don’t put things out there if you don’t want it to be brought up. Fredro could have handled it differently. It died down because he realized he was up in arms for no reason. Keep doing bomb interviews Breakfast Club! I’m watching and listening!
I totally agree…i dont care how long agi he said it, the fact is he did and didn’t care about that girld reputation just wantrd to look like he da man. Now its brought up he huffing and puffing. Took him dam neat 5 min later to blow up tho. Freddro wad an ass for saying it then and a punk for getting his draws in a bunch cause of his own words.
No shade but celebrities have got to know that Charlamagne and the Breakfast Club crew handle interviews this way…just like Wendy Williams and the rest of the $h*t talkers…be prepared for them to get in your business…don’t get mad, get witty…

If you are going to state facts please let it be correct . The argument was not about brandy it was about 50 cent saying he punched freddro star !!!
Tension began when he was asked about a comment he made on camera, about Brandy, awhile ago. Later in the conversation, 50 was brought up. We disagree, but it’s all good.
Yes that is correct. Charlmagne did slide that slick statement about brandy first and that is what really set him off. He got told off and then was trying to act like everything was cool.
