[EXCLUSIVE] 50 Cent Ordered to Pay Additional $ in 16.2 Million Dollar Headset Lawsuit
The case went to arbitration court and the headphone company won a million dollar judgement against the rapper. However, 50 Cent then filed a federal lawsuit attempting to overturn the decision, claiming the arbitrator was racist and prejudiced in his decision.
50 Cent’s federal lawsuit to overturn the decision was shut down and the rapper was ordered by the judge in the case to pay Sleek Audio a total of $16,181,578 which was made up of $11,693,247 in damages, plus $4,488,331 in attorney’s fees.
Sleek filed docs in the case shortly after the judgement, demanding MORE attorney fees from 50 Cent due to them having to hire lawyers once again to fight the rappers attempt to overturn the previous order.
Then on August 7th, the federal court judge sided once again with Sleek Audio and ordered 50 Cent to pay $26,762.26 to the company in legal bills, brining his grand total owed to Sleek at $16,208,340.26. Read the EXCLUSIVE Court Documents.
