Bishop Jones: My answer is simple. Paul wasn’t married and he was probably the greatest pro generators of the word of god.He’s actually the person we interpret the most. Many significant bible characters were not married. Marriage is not a prerequisite to being in the pulpit. Then again there’s an issue, Ron Gibson and I take this issue up all the time. I was married 22 years. I am one of those guys who is divorced and particularly afraid to be married again. But then there is a scripture that says, ‘if a man divorces his wife, except for the cause of fornication. If they divorce for any other reason, than who ever he marries, he commits adultery and whoever she marries commits adultery.’
