The parents of the 2 boys who were accused of playing a role in the death of Kendrick Johnson have filed a federal lawsuit against Ebony Magazine for slander and are demanding 5 million dollars, theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports.
The parents of Brian and Branden Bell filed suit this week against the publishing company for Ebony and writer Frederic Rosen. The docs explain that between April 2013 to April 2014, Ebony published several articles about the death of Kendrick Johnson. Johnson’s body was found on January 11, 2013 at his Georgia high school, rolled up in a mat at his school gymnasium.
