[NEW MOVIE ALERT] BEYOND THE LIGHTS

Everyone has had that moment where they’ve felt pushed to the edge, but in Noni Jean‘s story, is it art imitating life or life imitating art?
In Relativity’s new romantic-drama written and directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood (Love and Basketball), BEYOND THE LIGHTS, Noni Jean (GuGu Mbatha-Raw) is budding pop star facing the many challenges of her new-found fame; selling sex and conforming to society’s depiction of success. Her mother/momager (Mini Driver) defies the nurturing care of parenting to thrust Noni into a world of confusion and hopeless for financial gain. Crumbling under the pressure, Noni’s intense cry for help lands her in the hands of a handsome young cop, Kaz Nicol (Nate Parker) who is willing to give everything he has to save her from herself. But is this what she really wants? Is love the answer to all of her problems?
BEYOND THE LIGHTS is a story all too relatable as young adults battle an era where social media determines their worth and society rules their decisions; it is a story that proves love conquers all, and life is what you make it!
In theaters on November 14th!
