Chris Brown Relives Drug-Filled Past: I Was On Syrup & Xanax. [VIDEO]
There’s much to talk about when it comes to Chris Brown. Literally. He’s not only a profitable and amazing singer, dancer, actor, painter, he’s also a ladies man with a troubled past. Even that’s a mouthful. And with all those topics to discuss the R&B crooner stopped by Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning to get down to the nitty gritty over everything. From Rihanna and Karrueche to his lawsuits, no Chris stone was unturned and he was all smiles about it. Check out what he had to say about everything below.
On His Drugs:
I was off the syrup, Xanex…I don’t knock anyone’s hustle but for me it wasn’t conducive to me. I was falling asleep on video sets, cussing people out randomly—Once I started seeing it was affecting my work and what I was doing as a guy, just everything I was doing—[I was like] this ain’t for me.
On Karrueche:
I dig her. She’s dope. Especially being in the industry, you just need somebody that understands you personally. You don’t have to be a big artist, buying them bags, I don’t have to do all that. I do all of that because I love her but that doesn’t come with the territory. At the end of the day me and her have a real connection as best friends on top of our intimacy.
On Marrying Her:
