(INTERVIEW) Love & Hip Hop Hollywood’s Amanda Secor Talks: Ending Relationship With Fizz, Jonathan Dowling Rumors & Being Unfairly Portrayed

It appears that reality TV isn’t what it is all cracked out to be. Just ask reality TV newbie Amanda Secor of Love & Hip Hop Hollywood. During this season, we saw what looked to be a great relationship with Amanda and former B2K member Lil Fizz struggle to establish a blended family with his son’s mother Moniece.  In an exclusive interview with theJasmineBRAND.com, Amanda reveals her relationship status with Fizz (fellas, she’s single!), rumors that she’s dating NFL’er Jonathan Dowling and the ‘real’ scoop on her beef with Fizz’s baby mama, Moniece.

theJasmineBRAND.com: Overall how was your experience on Love & Hip Hop Hollywood?

Amanda Secor: It’s definitely been a drastic change in my life and a little overwhelming but I’ve been able to get my brand out there and show the world a little bit of who I am.

theJasmineBRAND.com: Were you nervous at all about showing your relationship with Fizz on TV?

Amanda Secor: Oh my God, I was so nervous about it. I’m a very private person and I keep my relationship private because it’s personal. It was so hard letting cameras into your life and magnifying all the little problems you have in a relationship.

theJasmineBRAND.com: How did you and Fizz meet?

Amanda Secor: We actually met outside of a BestBuy, I was going in to get my phone and he came and talked to me. I didn’t even know who he was or who Lil Fizz was. I actually thought that we had gone to school together because his face looked so familiar. But then he ended up telling me that he was in a group, B2K, and I went home a googled it I found out he was in this group.

theJasmineBRAND.com: What’s your relationship status now?

Amanda Secor: We are currently not together anymore. We do have a clothing line together so I guess we’re trying to figure out our working relationship is.

theJasmineBRAND.com: On the show you admitted to being unfaithful to him before, did that happen at all while you were filming or did that happen before?

Amanda Secor: It happened before we started filming. I’m sure everyone knows my boyfriend of five years past away when we first met and Dru was there for me when I was going through a really hard time in my life. You know, we got really close and I was just really confused. I was mourning the death of my boyfriend and trying to accept Dru and all of his love, Cameron, Moniece and all that he came with. I was just really confused and I made a mistake but the whole breakfast thing happened during filming.

theJasmineBRAND.com: Were you surprised that you got into the altercation with Moniece?

Amanda Secor: Of course, I was extremely surprised! I don’t think that any woman should be hit like that and it didn’t even cross my mind that Moniece would even do something like that. She claims to be a business woman and a mother. It didn’t even occur to me that someone would behave like that, especially because I hadn’t done anything to her.

theJasmineBRAND.com: What’s your relationship like now with her, is it better or is it all the same?

Amanda Secor: Well because me and Dru are no longer together, her presence is irrelevant to my life. But she’s clearly obsessed with me. She’s constantly posting things on Instagram and Twitter about me. So I don’t know what her problem is, I don’t know why she is so mad at me.

theJasmineBRAND.com: During the reunion show did you all try to hash things out?

Amanda Secor: I mean you will definitely see on the reunion how things went but I don’t know, definitely a crazy situation.

theJasmineBRAND.com: Is there any truth to the recent reports that you’re dating Oakland Raiders player, Jonathan Dowling?
