(EXCLUSIVE) Director Lee Daniels Threatens Damon Dash To Cease $25 Mill Legal Action
Damon Dash filed suit against director Lee Daniels claiming he invested millions in his films, starting with $two million for “The Woodsman” back in 2004, but was never compensated from Daniels.
Following “The Woodsman“, the 43-year-old Roc-A-Fella records co-founder explained he invested millions into Daniels other films including “Precious,” “The Paperboy” and “The Butler” and was suppose to be repaid with the profits along with get a executive producer credit on the films. In court documents, Dash says that he received neither and thus filed a suit for$ 25 million in damages from Daniels.
