(EXCLUSIVE) Damon Dash Disregards Legal Battle With Curren$y, To Be Hit With 3 Million Judgement

In turn, Dash reportedly fired back claiming that he had every right to release the albums because he was given permission. He accused the rapper of stabbing him in the back by not signing the deal and going with Warner Bros instead. The legal battle has been going on for years.

However, it appears Dash has blown off the legal battle for several months and his lawyer reportedly dropped him as a client. The rapper filed docs demanding a default and the court granted his request.

What’s more? On November 21st, Curren$y headed to court demanding he be granted a default judgement in the amount of $2.9 million in damages plus $95K in attorney fees. In the court docs, he claims Dash has caused him to lose money from his music by releasing it on his own.
