(EXCLUSIVE) DMX Hit With $244K Judgement Over Cancelled Concert Tour
Drama continues to follow DMX. theJasmineBRAND.com has exclusively learned that the rapper has been accused of screwing over a concert promoter and torpedoing a lucrative international comeback tour — and now a New York judge has slapped him with a $244K judgement.
Heavy Rotation – a concert booking agency – reportedly originally sued DMX for fraud back in 2012 claiming in 2011 they signed a 1 year exclusive deal with the rapper book concerts overseas. However, at the time, DMX had a number of legal issues including a lien on his passport for back child support. The lien prohibited DMX was traveling overseas, so Heavy Rotation paid $100K to DMX to handle the lien.
According to the court docs, following their payment of $100K, DMX then started to cause more problems for them. They claim
