Kelly Rowland’s mother, Doris Garrison, has been laid to rest. Her private funeral service was held on Saturday December 6th) in Decatur, GA. The official obituary has been released:

GARRISON, Doris Funeral services for Mrs. Doris Flora Rowland Garrison will be held 11 AM Saturday December 6, 2014 at New Beginning Full Gospel Baptist Church 923 Valley Brook Road Decatur Ga; Bishop James Morton Pastor officiating. Private Interment. Doris will be greatly missed by those who loved her, admired and shared a very close friendship. She is survived by her husband, Roy Garrison, II; son, Orlando Mickelle Rowland; daughter Kelendria “Kelly” Rowland Weatherspoon (Tim); granddaughters Joclyn Rowland
