Evin also shared her appreciation for those who have been supportive of her family during this time, specifically thanking celebs like Jill Scott and comedian/actor Faizon Love:

I would like to thank EVERYONE that has been sharing, voicing and putting their beautiful positive energy out there for me and my family. There will always be jealous, vengeful and crazy people out there to break anyone down. Everyday we wake up and appreciate the love and support from everyone. There’s more positive in life then we think. It’s the BS that can be overwhelming. We keep fighting each day. The challenges in life can only make us stronger. The ones that are angry can’t live as easy as the ones that can love, RESPECT and not to find the easy way out by making FALSE accusations. It’s a shame how some people sit behind the computer waiting for bad things to happen to someone. Isn’t it easier to be happy? This week, Kathie Lee Gifford, who has been one of Cosby‘s defenders, shared an interesting story about a vintage experience with Cosby.

Gifford claims that when she opened for Cosby while he was on tour in the late ’70s, the legendary comedian once tried to kiss her.

She shared to The Today Show audience:

I will admit towards the very, very end of the last time I saw him, he did try to kiss me. I said, ‘No, Bill, no, we’re friends,’ and he said, ‘OK, good night,’ and I said, ‘Good night.’ And I went into my room, and he went into his room.

Although Cosby was married at the time, Gifford said that Cosby’s behavior wasn’t particularly strange:

A lot of married men come on to single women. But once I said, ‘No, absolutely not,’ he respected it.

To date, 15 women have accused Cosby of drugging and sexually assaulting them. His lawyers have denied many of the allegations. [Facebook, Access Hollywood, Page Six]
