Keyshia nor her family are new to non-scripted TV. From 2006 — 2008, BET aired, Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is. The series was filmed in Atlanta, and at the time was the most-watched program in BET’s history. In 2012, BET aired Keyshia & Daniel: Family First. The show revolved around the family life of Keyshia and her husband, Daniel Gibson, and her work as a singer-songwriter and businesswoman as she prepped for studio album, Woman to Woman.
