(EXCLUSIVE) Keith Sweat Accused of Owing $258K in Back Taxes, Feds Coming After Assets
The lien says that if Sweat doesn’t pay up ASAP, they will begin the process of seizing his property and assets to collect on the debt he owes them.
Interesting to note, while Keith’s last album, ‘Til The Morning was in 2011, it was a success, making it to number 8 on the Billboard R&B Album chart. He’s also gearing up to release a new album, The Project, Harlem Romance: The Love Collection, a collection of his ’80s and ’90s hits.
According to Singers Room, the album is scheduled to hit this month and will include a 15-tracks set with selections from his first five solo albums: 1987’s Make It Last Forever (triple platinum), 1990’s I’ll Give All My Love to You (double platinum), 1991’s Keep It Comin’ (platinum), 1994’s Get Up on It (platinum) and his self-titled 1996 album (quadruple platinum).
