LHHA’s Stevie J Appears In Court With Joseline Hernandez, Pleads Not Guilty In Child Support Case [Photos]
Reality star/music producer Stevie J (real name Steven Jordan) is disputing reports that he’s a dead beat father. On Tuesday, the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta break-out star, reported to a Manhattan court, and pleaded not guilty in his ongoing child support case.
As theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reported, Stevie is charged with failing to pay more than $1 million in child support for two of his children, from a previous relationship.
In 2001, Stevie was ordered to pay $6,608 for his two kids, which was increased to $8,557 in 2011.
Judge Paul Crotty reportedly said it was “strange” the case was being tried in Manhattan Federal Court instead of state court.
After his appearance, Stevie told reporters:
